Zero Waste
Partner with Scraps for composting of waste and to-go containers.
The use of solar energy on the food truck to supplement and offset the use of nonrenewable resources.
Partner with We Don’t Waste to help reduce the amount of waste in Denver’s food network.
A commitment to creatively using all parts of produce in secondary applications such as soup stocks, sauces, spreads, toppings, etc.
SAME Table events are zero waste with help from Ghost Print and their event composting services.
Locally Sourced
Commitment to partnering with local farms and gardens to source fresh produce in order to serve a farm-to-table menu.
Partnerships with Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms to reduce leftover waste from CSA distribution.
Diverts thousands of pounds of grade B produce from Kiowa Organic Family Farm. Their donations of asparagus and summer and winter squash are rescued from becoming animal feed or waste.
Access for All
Kids 16 and younger eat for free in the cafe and at the food truck.
Every Friday, SAME Café hosts a free produce market open to everyone, ensuring fresh, healthy ingredients are available and accessible to anyone who wants or needs them.
The food truck echoes the café’s pay‑what‑you‑can model and brings healthy food directly to communities across Denver.
Partnership with the Too Good To Go platform offering produce and dry good surprise bags.
