Donating by design is a continuing tradition at Brighton Collectibles, where founder and owner Jerry Kohl and his team of designers have created jewelry collections which have raised over $3 million for breast cancer charities nationwide and over $1 million to fight women’s heart disease. Now, they are focusing their creative efforts on a different health concern — the growing number of people going hungry due to the economy.
With the American Heroes promotion running July 10-Aug 9, customers who purchase the limited edition semi-precious jewelry can join with Brighton in helping feed struggling Americans. Brighton will donate $7.50 per necklace, $5.00 per bracelet and $2.50 per pair of earrings sold to Feed Our Friends charity. In addition, the Brighton Collectibles stores in Cherry Creek Mall and Denver Pavilions, and Pine Creek Clothing on Old South Gaylord have selected SAME Cafe as their donation recipient.
Libby and I visited the Cherry Creek store this afternoon for the kickoff of this awesome campaign. The picture below is us posing with Karen, the store manager in front of the display about SAME Cafe. We were able to see the jewelry in person, and it is beautiful. Any of the pieces would make great gifts, so be sure to keep Brighton Collectibles in mind this month if you have any purchases to make! If you are interested in purchasing one of these pieces, contact Karen at either of the Brighton Collectibles stores, or Lisa at Pine Creek Clothing.
